In 2025, Ashton made his BBC Proms debut at the Royal Albert Hall, performing in Classic Thriller Soundtracks with the BBC Concert Orchestra. The performance marked another major milestone in a career that continues to bridge contemporary soul with orchestral grandeur. He has also been a featured artist at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival's inaugural Soul Jazz Summit, sharing the stage with Gregory Porter and Beverley Knight alongside the BBC Concert Orchestra and Guy Barker's Big Band.

As the creative force behind The Ashton Jones Project, his original music channels the spirit of classic 70s soul and funk through a contemporary lens. His debut album Toast received widespread acclaim, was featured on Spotify's All Funked Up editorial playlist, and has amassed well over one million global streams.
